1997-1998 contested in the first election for the Managing Committee and was elected as the Managing Committee with the highest number of Votes in the first attempt.

He was promoted to contest the election in 201 as the Jt. Hon. Secretary position and was elected ni the very first attempt.

2003-2011 he has been a part of various Sub-Committees over the period of Mumbai Cricket Association.

2009-2011 he was the Sub-Committee Member of the Marketing Committee.

Played cricket for nearly two decades from 1985-2005 and had the honour of captaining the CCI Team for one of the longest tenure from 1991-2000 in major tournaments played in Mumbai and was the winning captain for many major tournaments during the period.

Ventured into a Sports Tourism Company with Cricket Tourism as the main focus and has now developed the company into one of the only Sports Tourism Company from India promoting all kinds of Sports Tourism including Cricket, Soccer, Tennis, Formula 1, Golf and Olympics.

Cutting Edge has been Official Travel Agent to Cricket Logistics (Official Tour and Travel provider of International Cricket Council) for the past many years and for the first time Cutting Edge was appointed as the only Participating Tour Operator in India for the FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa which was the biggest feather in its cap.
